How long do people have to enjoy a certain lifestyle before collectivists give up calling it ‘unsustainable?’
Question by patrickctrombly: How long do people have to enjoy a certain lifestyle before collectivists give up calling it ‘unsustainable?’
People are entitled to their opinions and the far left are, just like the far right, entitled to hold – not force but hold – opinions about other people’s lifestyles. But the word “unsustainable” has an actual meaning – it means that physically speaking, in short order, you can’t make it last – like pulling all-nighters to get work done, that sort of thing. They’ve been saying our consumption levels are “unsustainable” for decades now – we consume a multiple of what we consumed when they first started saying it. This is how markets work – a single resource might get scarcer, thus will cost more, and then it becomes economical to figure out a way to use another resource for the same purpose. Markets have done this for centuries. We’re not going to “run out of oil and natural gas” for the same reason we didn’t “run out of horses and whale oil.”
“Sustainability” is no better an excuse for collectivism than “for the children” was.

What are some bleach-free bathroom cleaners?
Question by schmooz: What are some bleach-free bathroom cleaners?
I attend a university that has an eco-friendly waste treatment facility, so bleach kills all the good bacteria and makes the campus smell pretty awful. I’ll be sharing a bathroom with another chick this school year, and i’m pretty into having a clean shower/tub/sink but haven’t found any good bleach-free cleaners i can pick up anywhere for a reasonable price. Does anyone know of any strong bleach-free cleaners?

Product Description
From the original bamboo cutting board company, Totally Bamboo, this cutting board is a beautiful, functional, ecologically sound addition to any kitchen. Bamboo is 16% harder than maple, making it an excellent cutting surface. Bamboo is actually a grass that grows to a harvestable height of 60 feet in about 3 to 5 years, growing as much as 2 feet per day. It has an extensive root system that continually sends up new shoots, naturally replenishing itself. It does not require replanting, making it one of the most renewable resources known. Totally Bamboo uses ‘Moso’ timber bamboo which is neither a food source nor a habitat for the Giant Panda. Totally Bamboo’s cutting boards are assembled with approved food-grade glue — none of their products are made with formaldehyde-based glue. No dyes or stains are used in the manufacturing process. The pleasing designs are created by using the naturally occurring variations within the wood grain. Totally Bamboo prides itself on using only premium hand-selected bamboo, innovative design, exemplary craftmanship, and fair labor policies.

How do you saute onions, green peppers, etc. in the microwave?
Question by mom: How do you saute onions, green peppers, etc. in the microwave?
I love sauteed veggies. My new microwave gives the power but now the time and any other suggestions. Help!
Best answer:
Answer by Psych Lapse
“Sautee” (which implies browning through the Mallaird Reaction) requires a hot surface (fry pan) and some lubricant (oil, butter, etc)
You can cook things in a microwave, but you will not get browning or that pungent smell that comes as a result of Mallaird reaction in a hot pan.

Look at it:

-Paper is for printing
-You want the document in physical form
-So print it

why people think that evolution happened by it self without God touch?
Question by borhan: why people think that evolution happened by it self without God touch?
if there was no control over the evolution ,do you think nature can understand whats the need for its creations sustainability
Science only can say how evolution work bt can it realize without control earth itself was nt intelligent enough to make everythng which lead dependence(food chain) on each other
Best answer:
Answer by No GOP or Democrats
Using “Occam’s Razor,” God is an unnecessary assumption.
There is no control over Evolution. Evolution is a process that is reactionary to the environment.
Think of waterflow. When a river moves, it takes the path of least resistance. No one is deliberately moving the water around rocks; the water takes the easiest path. No “control” is needed.

What methods of statistical analysis can you use to assess qualitative data?
Question by magda: What methods of statistical analysis can you use to assess qualitative data?
Such as the color change of a solution in reference to pH values. For example, a pH of 2 yields a color change of yellow-orange, pH of 5 yields a color change of orange-red, a pH of 7 yields orange and a pH of 11 yields a green color. There were 6 trials with the same color change in each trial for all 4 pH values.
Thanks in advance!!

Two levels of measurement. Nominal and Ordinal. Put in a category for the Nominal. Put in category and put in order. Example on Nominal there are four categories of major PGA tournaments. Second on Ordinal is A PG rating has a stronger restriction than a G rating. You can do the same for the color change ph. List and categorize the value numbers…… I hope this helps….

Now that i colored it back to red it keeps fading out look like a puky color. Its patchy and wont keep color in certain spots. How can i get it to stay red? Either a home remedy anything that will help please?
Best answer:
Answer by Rockinmyuggs
Well, shampoo and deep – condition it twice a week, this will help to keep its colour, but don’t do it too much or it can cause breakages.
Or you can use l’oreal Paris, Elvive caring shampoo colour protect. I used this once, and it really helped, but the price is kinda’ high, but I would say it’s really worth it.
